I've always been impressed with Meguiar's cleaning products, and the Gold Class Car Wash lives up to their reputation. The car shampoo creates a great sudsy bucket and cleans the car very well without removing the existing wax. The last thing you want to do is use a car soap that strips the wax from your vehicle. After washing the car and rinsing the soap, I use a high powered blower to dry my vehicle. Since the Gold Class doesn't remove the wax, the water easily blows off the car and I only need to use a microfiber cloth to remove any small amount of excess water. No streaks, no swirls. Likewise, you don't need to use too much of the soap (a bit more than a capful) for a great sudsy bucket.
Like many Amazon shoppers, I count on honest, unbiased reviews to make my purchase decisions. I hope you found this review helpful.
Good car wash for a good price. I used to wash my car with dishwashing liquid until I realized how bad that is for the finish. This leaves the car SQUEAKY clean with no residue, and a little goes a long way. Much more concentrated than other car wash shampoos. Depending on how often you wash your car, you could easily use less than one bottle every six months. I also bought the Meguiar wash mitt to go with this and it makes washing my own car so easy. For the price of one gas station car wash, you really can't go wrong with this product. I love this car soap. I've been using it for years and buying from the big box stores so when Amazon had it for a fraction of the price I'm used to paying; it was a no brainer to order 2 containers. I use it to wash and to fill my MTH Foamer. Lays down a thick foam film pulling most of the dirt off my car while not damaging the wax.
I have used Meguiar's Gold Class Car Wash for several years and have always been pleased. It conditions any road debris so that it rinses easily, especially since I also use the mitt from Meguiar's. I follow the car wash two times each year with Meguiar's 3-step clean, polish and wax applications using Meguiar's buffer the morning after the car wash. Since I purchase luxury vehicles and keep for 8-10 years, I always get the maximum value when selling to a private party.
I bought this to wash the out side of my hot tub from all the normal dust and dirt that falls on my cover and sides. I found it worked pretty good. But I tried it on my car against Adams car soup and I was surprised how well it worked. I put it in my foam gun and it worked great. Made lots of foam. I think its a great inexpensive car wash soap.

Oh my gosh, this soap works well on your car, smells nice and leaves a beautiful shine once the washing is completed. I recommend getting a drying cloth so that you can remove the water on your car before it starts drying off. Otherwise you'll probably be left with water spots (not caused by the shampoo of course). Meguiars products are the best!!
Very good, lots of suds to keep microfiber mitt or cloths from making direct contact, makes the cloth glide over the car's paint. Worked perfectly. Much better than CG's Citrus soap. Will definetly buy again.
I have used maybe 1.5 gallons of this in nearly a year. I wash my vehicle every couple of weeks depending on how dirty it gets and weather. I have a 3/4 ton pickup that I use for work. I use this soap in combination with my pressure washer and it lasts for a surprisingly long time even when I occasionally use the pressure washer (and soap) for other tasks like the walkway or deck. And never thought I would care but, the smell is quite pleasant.
Works wonders, It's a hard job keeping a white car white, buy it!
I wash our cars every week, and am pretty picky. Our cars are not luxury cars but everyone comments they look and run like new. I used to just buy whatever car wash Costco had, but they stopped selling it for a while so I had to just buy whatever I could find. Tried several and it always seemed watered down no matter how much soap I poured into the bucket.
I ordered this from Amazon and chose it based on its high reviews. I've tried this before but didn't appreciate it till I stopped using it! Now that I'm using it again, I can't go back to another soap. This one smells good, doesn't need a ton of soap to get your car clean, and it doesn't remove the wax from my paint.
Very happy. This isn't the cheapest car wash soap available but you kinda get what you pay for, as with most things.
