My van seems to go through rotors quickly, mainly due to the weight of the van. So I am trying this one to see if it will last longer. My previous one warped. So far after a few months of using it, it has been working great! I will write again if it becomes a problem.
UPDATE
Only lasted three years before warping and now I need a new one. I am not sure if that is great or not. But I will try another brand to compare the lifespan of the rotors.
Seem ok. Protective coating a little sloppily applied. Some of it was on the face of the rotor. Make sure you clean the braking surface good with some brake cleaner.
I can imagine being disappointed by cheap replacement discs, but find it hard to believe that boutique rotors would make a difference in my application (mini-van, small-town and freeway driving). I am more that pleased with this purchase.
Although these Raybestos 980077 Rotors have only been installed for a couple of weeks, these seem to be much better than the previous rotors we had on our '06 Sienna. They are silent and provide excellent braking when mated with Akebono ACT906A pads.
Needed to replace original rotors due to warping. Price is right for these rotors. I paired these with Akebono ceramic pads. They work great together.
