Purchased for 2014 Ford Explorer. Note: there is a known high failure rate on the 2012, 13, 14 Fords that use these brakes (Flex, Taurus, Expy). The passenger side rear seems to rust stuck, and the pads stick in the brackets, and drag quite a bit. Search around for online video, and you'll find many. I'm at 80K miles and 3rd pad (factory + 2 that I installed), and I check these every time I rotate tires (~7500 miles).
I am from the old school of brakes...when you had Wagner and Bendix, and nothing else. So I usually use Wagner if I can plan ahead, other wise it's whatever the local parts guy has on hand. That said, I purchased these with the abutment kit and put them on the shelf to have on hand. Tiem came that the pad were sticking again, so in these went. Removed the calipers, brackets, clean everything with wirewheel, and file the brackets where pads ride. Use COPPER antisieze between the clips and the bracket, lots of it. Plenty of copper antisieze to keep the rust to a minimum. Make sure you use respirator...brake dust is nasty.
I also check the ears on the pads for proper tolerance. Manufacturing tooling stamps out the backplate, and as the manufacturing dies wear down, the backer plates will get out of spec, and be large and the pads are a bit tight. If necessary, take a grinder or file to the pad ears and knock down the stamping edges..grind smooth so the pads glides freely on the abutment clip. Use the blue goo anti-rattle to stick the pads to the caliper, if no blue goo, any RTV is good too.
After installation, break em in properly...at 50mph or so, drag the brake a bit, then release, do this 1/2 dozen or so times, and then cool them off gently, no hard stops.
Overall these pads are really great in my 2014 Explorer. Stop well, no left/right imbalance or pulling. No squeaking with proper installation and proper break in.
And I have the matching front pads on a shelf..I highly recommend these pads.
These pads were installed on my 2013 Ford Edge Limited. They do a great job at stopping, and after 20,000 KM's of driving, the only complaint I have is that they make a lot of noise when the car moves for the first time in a while. An example is in the morning after being parked overnight, the brakes will squeal at first when the pedal is applied. After a couple of presses of the pedal though - all is fine.
Have been using Wagner Thermoquiet Brake Pads for some time. Like them because I get less brake noise, and less brake dust on my rims.
Excellent brakes. Just like you would expect from Wagner. These are quite, and have a very definite gripping feel that works beautifully with the ABS. I was short on time and didn't take the rotors to get resurfaced. Despite that, these stop with zero vibrations.
Worked great on my 2013 Ford Explorer. I haven't really noticed anything different with them, which is pretty much the point. They don't make noise and the car stops when expected.

I’m a professional auto technician, I’ve used all different brake component brands and Wagner is superior in my opinion. Good quality, consistent manufacturing. High quality products!
Good product. Working great so far.
Worked great and hopefully no more brake dust on the rims.
Worked on my 2012 Lincoln MKX.
I bought this for a 2009 Ford Flex. This is the perfect fit and my husband was able to change the brakes on his own very easily. Smooth braking performance! Would recommend this product for sure!
