I don't know why CG has so many different car washes, but here's another one. I typically use CG Glossworkz, or CG Citrus Wash & Gloss, those are my go-tos. I typically use Glossworkz as a maintenance wash as it won't strip wax. I'll use Citrus Wash and Gloss (diluted) in the foam cannon as a pre-wash foam as it's not PH balanced as does a good job breaking down road film. I was just about ready to use up the last of the of my Glossworkz but before I reordered, I decided to give Extreme Bodywash a shot. It seems to be very similar to Glossworkz but with a different color and smell. It also has some wax in it, but I couldn't tell much difference. It's purple and smells a lot like Dimetapp (the cough/cold medicine).

It performs about the same as Glossworkz, but with a slight bit more lubricity, and slightly less foaming ability. It is PH balanced to the point where it won't strip wax, so you can get more aggressive with the dilution if you want more lubricity and/or foam and not have to worry about stripping your existing wax/sealant. Overall it's a fine wash, but CG already has 4 or 5 very good to excellent car washes to begin with. I don't know why they feel the need to have a dozen versions of single product.

Let's start out by saying I'm an over the road truck driver, who leaves his truck in a lot for 3 weeks at a time. Normally when I get in, my truck's a filthy mess, with dust and dirt all over it... Until now.
Now I'm only guessing that after using this soap, the rain rinsed my truck, not leaving it a mess. Last night was the first time I didn't have to stop and wash it off, on the way home.
You can feel that this is some fine soap when you're washing your vehicle, dries perfect and brings out a perfect shine.
This is by far the best car wash soap I've ever used!

I absolutely love this stuff, it leaves a high gloss streak free shine and hides minor scratches you usually get from drying. It really brings out the deep metallic gloss in my paint. A little goes a long way, just an oz. of product in a 5 gallon wash bucket. I also use it in my foam cannon. I swear by Chemical Guys products.

My 2012 Honda Fit isn't special. It gets a Buc-ee's car wash once every other month, if I feel like it.

So I decided to get this now that I've got a pressure washer for cleaning the house.

My first surprise was the thick grape scent when I opened the jug. I was expecting 'soap' and got 'soda' scent instead.
The next was just how thick the suds were. My car looked like it had been buried in snow again. The bright white soon turned gray as it slid off the sides of the car. After a little hand washing, it looked great (expect for revealing the years of rock pits on the hood...)

Grape scent makes me feel like a kid washing the car and made me want a grape soda afterward (50/50 pro/con).
Was tough on the years of bugs and grime coating my car without peeling what little protection that was left prior to this.

Overall, I was pleasantly surprised by the results and may invest in the other CG car wash products to help get the more stubborn dirt off near the wheel wells.

Side note: For those new to the whole soap cannon car wash, this is not a 'touchless' wash. The soap foam helps pre-soak the soiled surface making it easier to scrub (so have your elbow grease ready). I used this as both pre-wash (foam cannon and sit-n-soak) and main wash (wash bucket and mitt).

Product showed up on my door step this morning on time, and in great condition. Boxed neatly and sealed in a tamper proof rapper. Took it to the yard to wash my rig, that I wash quite frequently! I’ve use other chem guys products like wax, and degreasers, and interior stuff. This is my first soap from them, I gotta say I’m pleased. ( What I noticed was that the reflection in the paint is more detailed. Also I could see further behind me, when standing in front of my truck! I also noticed that my bucket water was a lot dirtier quicker. The grape smell is true, smells good.) I would purchase again without a doubt! Wax is true, causes water to bead up. I hope that you will enjoy this stuff as I have folks. Peace

This product works well. When used, you can clearly see the beading of water after rinsing it off. It also smells great. I, however, wouldn't skip traditional waxing or the clear coat protection after washing car.
I don't have scientific evidence to back that it doesn't work but nor do they have it to back that it does... therefor I wouldn't trust it to protect my paint without further steps to protect it.

Always looking for something that is effective in cleaning the mud and dirt off the truck. Something that helps in protecting the paint. Well so far this soap has come thru with what it claims to be able to. Purchased a amazon brand bottle for the pressure washer, added some to the bottle and went to town. It’s not magical as some may think, one will still have to physically touch the vehicle to remove some of the stubborn dirt but the soap does a significant amount of the work. Even removed the stubborn dirt on the undercarriage that just a pressure washer alone couldn’t. The smells are great and the kids enjoy helping out. Will continue to buy. Also their interior detailed relievers on its claims as well. Not leaving that ugly greasy shine. It leaves it like it just came off the factory floor.

Love Love Love chemical guys foaming soap. Only soap that touches my baby 😉

Love it. I normally buy Meguiar's or Armor All, but never again (that is not to say they are bad, just not as good as Chemical Guys). Smells very good, 1oz usage per 5 gallons of water, took care of all dirt, and left a beautiful shine on my car. Would recommend to anyone!

I have used this car soap 3 times since I bought it.
Here is what I like:
- Very nice berry scent.
- Foams very well, with or without a hand cannon.
- Provides an effective wash
- Rinses well
- Enough for many many washes.

Here is what I like less:
- All the mumbo jumbo about color brightening and other fancy claims. Any correctly washed car will look better after than before so the color enhancing seems far fetched.

In conclusion:
This product smells good while applying (makes the washing experience nicer somehow), did wash my car well so 5 stars.
