The budget shorty headers, brought these to replaced my cracked ones in my 03 f150 4.6 2wd. Had them installed by a shop. Very tight fit but they work. Recently had a really bad exhaust leak where they connect to the cats so removed the cats and running open headers. Dear God it's stupid how loud these are by themselves. Anyways the paint almost immediately melted off from the heat,truck did pick up some low end torque and a amazing sound. Overall id recommend them to someone who's on a budget but wants headers
Update:5-12-17 the gasket the headers came with broke so sitting at a shop to get new ones would highly recommend ordering better gaskets.
Update:6-16-17. Left side has a small leak had to be torqued down some more besides that holding up great.
As expected, the mechanic said the hard part was the old rust stud that had to be extracted. Other than that they fit
Great
Havent installed yet so will update when that is complete. Quality wise I gave it 4/5. Welds weren't the best ive seen but theyre not the worst either. I did have to spray with high temp paint per the instructions even say the paint on them will burn off.
Fit perfect sound great! A+++
worked great on my 1998 F 150 XLT 4.6L 4x4 5 speed

Description
Affordably priced PaceSetter Headers are one of the best ways to improve your vehicle's performance and efficiency. By reducing exhaust back pressure and scavenging the cylinders better, headers (sometime referred to as tubular exhaust manifolds) provide a noticeable improvement for any application. These Shorty Headers bolt on in place of the stock exhaust manifolds for greater engine efficiency. Fits 97-03 Ford F150/250 (exc. H.D.) and Expedition, 4.6L.
Good product, cheap and efficient! My Ford expedition is now breathing! Can feel a difference! And a deeper sound!
great price , paint is poor and will come off ,
Very happy
These headers definitely add power to the engine at low-mid throttle. Installation is very difficult on the right-hand (passenger) side because the starter is just below the headers, and the engine mount covers at least 2 of the header bolts. Engine mount must be unbolted from the engine, and engine jacked up about 1" so bolts can be extracted/inserted.
Good tone. Definitely plan on jacking passenger side up to get one exhaust bolt out.
