I had my new car's paint ceramic treated to help protect it, and per the instructions you're not supposed to use wax. Unfortunately, water beads up great on that finish, so even after washing to get the worst of the dirt off, spots from hard water are a real problem. I needed something that would clean and not leave residue. My younger cousin who has a job detailing cars at an auto dealership told me about Auto Magic's 49 Body Shine. That's what they use for a literal showroom shine. This is the no-wax, no-silicone "body shop safe" equivalent. Does a great job of removing smudges, spots, and road residue to bring out the glass-like finish of the ceramic.
Used this in the body shop for years. Use it at home in the garage and my neighbors all remark home shiny my vehicles are. Newest one being 12 yrs old
