This stuff exceeds all expectations. No kidding.
I bought a bottle at Home Depot, along with a pack of 11" x 17" (about) microfiber car drying cloths. What a combination!
It takes just a few minutes to wash the car with the spray hose at the coin op car wash, and the microfiber drying cloths are the best things Iv'e ever used to dry a car. Literally, I can dry the entire car off in less than 5 minutes. Then, I go around the car with this amazing stuff.
I spray a section, wipe it on, spray another section, wipe it on, then wipe off the first section, spray another section, rub off the second section....all of this is going on while I am moving around the car -- there is no "wait 3 minutes" -- not even any "wait 30 seconds" -- once you wipe this stuff on, it is ready to wipe off in like 5 to 10 seconds, no kidding. There is also virtually no 'resistance' -- it is easy on, SUPER easy off. No hard buffing or even hand resistance on the towel. Quick and easy is not marketing exaggeration.
After the car is dried, it LITERALLY takes me another 5 to 10 minutes to quickly go around the car with this stuff, and it makes your car LOOK like a million bucks, it makes your car FEEL like a million bucks (that buttery smooth waxed feeling on the fingertips). Added bonus: I had road tar on my car because I recently drove on new construction -- the dried tar wiped off everywhere with a soft towel before the last wash -- no kidding - just wiped off with no solvent or anything. THAT is a smooth coat of wax.
Just finished my first bottle and ordered another -- I will forever be a customer and fan of this stuff.
For a $12 bottle that shines and protects your car, this is great! I can't comment on the protection part, but the shining is amazing. I am new to waxing, I watched a few videos on how to properly wash your car, and have spent the cheapest $40 for a wash and wax on my coupe. I just washed my car (Rinse, spray soap, Rinse) for $3, dried, then spray waxed starting at the front left fender going around the car (spray once, wipe off, spray twice, wipe off, so 2 coats) I used about a fourth to half the bottle.
My car is a 2016 coupe for size reference, I also sprayed the windows so not as much dirt can accumulate and water on the windshield doesn't look like a waterfall and would bead up instead (it's summer now so oh well)
I am going to buy this again, the reviews are true when they say it depends how generous you want to be when it comes to how shiny you want it. I'd expect 3 or more coats will be overkill and possibly kill your bottle (since mine was only a coupe) but if you have the money go for it! Not only will I buy this again, I am not going back to spending $40 to wash my car.
Having used only paste wax up till today, this was my first experience using a spray on wax. The application process could not be easier. After washing and preparing the car, spray the wax on a 5-6 sq ft area and spread it with a clean microfiber towel, then wipe dry with another clean microfiber towel. The resulting finish is smoooooth. I did the entire car (a '17 Corvette) in a little over forty minutes, and the finish is slick and shiny. A real plus is that there is no white residue on plastic/rubber parts. If this wax stays on the car for any length of time, there is no way I'm ever going back to paste wax...
EDIT - after a year of using it, I am still a fan. Granted that the car is garaged and driven less than it is parked, but the finish remains slick and water still beads fanatically in the rain... A keeper!
I've been in the auto detailing and aftermarket industry for over 20 years. I've tried nearly every product both on and off the shelf. This thing is amazing.
To get the best shine money can buy, wax your vehicle then apply this on top of it. It will shine like the day your car rolled off the showroom floor.
Can be applied between waxes, get high quality microfiber towels such as chemical guys. Spray some product in the towel and then on the vehicle. Wipe on and let it dry for 10-15 minutes. Go back with a clean microfiber towel and buff it off.
Worth every penny even at double the price.
This wax is very easy to use with amazing results.
Keep in mind that I do not have a super nice car so I do not take all the precautions that a person with a really nice car or someone who really wants to preserve their paint might take.
1. I wash my car with car soap and a wash mitt.
2. I rinse my car thoroughly.
3. I completely dry my car.
4. With clean microfiber towels, I spray some of the wax on the car and on the towel and start rubbing it into the paint. I let dry, this product dries almost instantly.
5. I take new microfiber towel and start "wiping off" any of the wax.
6. I know I did a decent job when the final "wiping off" feels like its gliding over the paint very easily.
I havent tried a product that works this easily with this great results. Ive tried turtle quick wax and also other mequiars wax prodcuts and I like this one the most.

I've been using this for years so I don't need to wait to use this batch to leave a review. Keep in mind that each genre of wax will perform differently and with last according to what form you choose in the wax. If you want a professional finish then Paste is the only way to go, but it will take longer and precise application to put it on and remove it. It's more elbow grease for sure, but the aftermath is magical and will last longer against the forces of nature. I need to have my car shining and detail rain or shine! So I need something fast for days when I know it's going to rain later or I'm not in the mood to work too hard. This spray bottle going on like water but when you wipe it makes the car shine brand new. I can spray and wipe the whole car in less than 10 min and your car will be shiny. Can't beat that !!! I would recommend wiping with one cloth and rewiping with a softer dry cloth. There is a detailed bottle you can use after this bottle is sprayed and wiped off to give a much better shine.
When I was young, I could hand wash, polish and Wax and be happy. Now I have a job, house, wife, and ... ya know. I still want the car to look good, and this stuff rocks. Spray on, wipe off with a microfiber cloth it's protected. Now I wouldn't spray it on mud and rub it into the paint, but if you're car is just dusty - it's spray and wipe. Is this the RIGHT way to do it? No, if I had a Lambo, no I probably wouldn't wash this way, but for my commuter car to look presentable - we're good. Apply as a mist (not dripping down the panel); it lasts through a good rain too, I apply one a week or once every two weeks (yeah Meguires I'm sure likes me).
This is a pretty great wax to use on your car that you want to make a little shiny or stand out. I usually use this product every month or so after I was my car. The wax holds up pretty well for maybe 1.5 weeks to 2 weeks. It is really simple to use as what you only need is the spray bottle and microfiber cloth. An advice that I would give when using this is to do one section at a time as it may dry out quite quickly if you spray in large areas. Make sure to to turn to dry side of microfiber cloth after spreading the wax side to get that smooth slippery glossy finish. This process doesn't take long at all as it also doesn't require too much energy. It takes me around 15-20 min to apply to the whole car of my Mazda 3. Overall, this is an excellent product and something that I would keep buying. A bottle can last you a long time.
Honestly, it works really well. For my specific use this works great. I use this to maintain my new wax coating on my vehicle, this helps bring back the new shine of when I first waxed my vehicle. I've tried this on a car that didn't have any wax on it and this does work decent, but it doesn't really last. This would be good for a quick shine before you go to a car show or something similar, this doesn't last at all, but it does make your vehicle look pretty good.
It's not a replacement for a full wax and buff, but it sure does make the car shine. My black Q40 looks slick and wet, the reflection it gives is amazing. I doubt the protection from this will compare to Meguair's liquid wax, but it's a good way to touch up between waxes.
Update: 2 weeks after Using Meguair's ultimate liquid wax, I washed my car and followed up with some Quik Wax - my black car looks like a mirror and feels smooth as can be. This is definately a great product to shine and remove the leftover water marks. Did I mention this smells awesome!
