Centric Parts 120.44146 Premium Brake Rotor with E-Coating

These are great. Perfect fit for a 2010 Toyota Camry (front).

I put the same brand on my other car a couple years ago and never had a problem with them warping again. Although i'm sure it could still happen under the right conditions.
The black coating (on the center and edges) does stop all rust and corrosion. The silver "face" of the rotor still slowly rusts over when exposed to moisture and left to sit a while without use.

Tips:
-Make sure to spray and wipe these with Brake Cleaner. They come coated in an oily residue (probably to stop rust)
-Getting the old brake rotor off can be a job if it's stuck. The easy way to get it off is using the "bolts" trick.
The "bolts" trick is simple. If you look close at the new rotor, you will see two small threaded holes with seemingly no purpose.
If you have these holes on your old rotor, you are supposed to find a bolt that fits and slowly thread the bolts into the two holes (evenly) and they will EASILY pry the rotor off for you. Make sure you get quality bolts! Don't just use any old bolt you can find. You don't want them breaking off into the hole if your rotor is really stuck on there. I believe the bolt size was M8(8mm).

These are my go to brake rotors. I am an Air Force vehicle mechanic, so I have done more then a fair share of brake jobs. I don't typically write reviews, but I have been burned by bad brake components in the past so I thought I would save someone the hassle of re-doing a brake job. The e-coating is a very nice touch, given the salty winter roads of New Hampshire where I live. The fit and finish is superb, they were quiet and provided extremely smooth braking when paired with a set of akebono ceramic brakes. The surface is nicely machined, and they break in very quickly. I have put these on a toyota camry, subaru legacy, and a toyota highlander. They last as long as the OEM. When I get asked by friends what kind of brakes to get, these are the ones I recommend. High quality and they don't break the bank!

High quality front rotor for my Camry. Be sure you buy two!

Also, as of spring 2018, amazon does not appear to carry the proper Centric rear rotor model for my car. According to Centric's online catalog website, you will need the 120.44188 rotors. I can confirm the 120.44188 rotors are 100% compatible with the 2014.5 Camry, and thus are compatible with many other Camry years.

I paired these rotors with Akebono ACT1222(front) and Akebono ACT1212(rear) brake pads.

PRO-TIP: buy a M8 x 1.25 size bolt and screw it into one of the threaded holes near the center of the soon-to-be-old rotor to separate it from the hub. it's **way** easier than trying to bang and hammer a rotor off that's rusted and stuck to the hub...

Had these on my 2011 toyota camry for about five months and they're doing just fine and look a lot better than stock. I'm also an aggressive driver so I have not been babying them so they definitely hold up well. Follow the break in procedure and be patient and the squeaks will fade as normal.

Update: 8 months later my rotors are warped and are making my car pulsate upon braking. As I said before I am a relatively aggressive driver and was hoping to get a year out of these rotors but they now need to be turned or replaced.

Great rotors! I installed these fronts with Hawk HPS pads on my 2010 Rav4 v6, flushed with Motul RBF 600 brake fluid AFTER bedding them in...I have my braking feeling BETTER than new! Tremendous braking power performance! And the e-coating looks great, and all metallurgy processes were followed with this grade (compared against the basic-level centric rotors).

If you have Prime, then Amazon has the best price, otherwise, there are better places with comparable prices if you have to pay shipping. This gets 4 stars because after all the research I did on trying to buy American made rotors from an American company, I find out after receipt they were, well, one was made in China and the other was made in Taiwan. So far there is no way of telling that they are made in different foreign factories, and I hope it stays that way.

Description

Centric premium rotors utilize an Electro coating finish that provides long lasting corrosion protection. E-coating is a superior electro-statically applied finish designed to withstand 400 hours of salt water exposure without rusting. Phosphate finishes utilized by other manufacturers provide only minimal protection from the elements; these finishes are generally only effective for the shipping and storage portion of a rotor’s life. The addition of heat and moisture eliminates the effectiveness of phosphate finishes resulting in immediate corrosion once installed in the vehicle.

It's been 8 months since I put these rotors and new OEM pads on my 2009 Avalon Limited. I live in Minnesota where we get all the weather extremes. After 10,000 miles through snow and heat, these rotors are still holding up great. They still provide smooth and quick stops. I have tried lower quality rotors and pads on other vehicles that didn't last this long. Spend a little more and you won't need to replace these parts as often.

Great product did some research before buying , checked out some reviews. Put these on my 2014 Toyota Camry xle. I have to say they definitly met my expectations , I installed these rotors and replaced the brake pads with akebono act1212 put its been 9months, my opinion on this product is they are better than oem rotor. Definitly worth the price and having e- coating on these new centric rotors look good and protect the rotors from rust !

These fit fine on a 4 cyln 2007 Camry and got ride of my steering wheel shakes when braking at high speeds. Paired it with OEM pads. So far had them for a month and no warping, well see how the long run goes.

Fit my 2008 4 cyl. Camry perfectly. I measured sideway runout at 1 mil, which is great. Hopefully, the coating will reduce rust, which is a major problem in NY, with salty winter roads. I usually buy Brembo rotors, but these seem great.too!

Excellent rotors......2015 Lexus 350. Stock Japanese rotors are junk and warp. These are true and tempered
