Stick Fast 318 CA 5 Minute Epoxy Kit,

Stick Fast 318 CA 5 Minute Epoxy Kit, clear

Stick Fast 318 CA 5 Minute Epoxy Kit, clear

I suspect that all of these epoxies are made via the same ingredients and formula but I could be wrong about that.

Any damn way, I use a good bit of epoxy for my assemblage projects and I've tried a few brands. This is the best one I've used so far and I'm reordering right now.

It sticks good and sets up in about 5 minutes as advertised. The odor seems less than some I've used. Besides being a good strong glue, the best thing is that the bottles come with twist tops so you don't have to worry about finding those derned little plastic bottle tops after you apply the epoxy and your fingers are all gummed up with dried epoxy. I usually find those silly stoppers stuck to the seat of my jeans and only after I've used a push pin as a stopper. This product comes in a plain little white paper box that is handy to put the partially filled bottles in. A thoughtful touch is that they pack a few wood sticks with the glue. You can either use those to spread the epoxy or to make you some grape popsicles. Onyx Stainless Steel Popsicle Mold

Another thing I like about these you-mix-it epoxies is that it's less plastic going to the landfill. I'm no tree hugger but those little one-use plunger dispensers remind me of those coffee pods that are too obviously wasteful. Yes, I know I'd be better off not using epoxy at all or buying gallon size quantities (if there are such a thing) but I need to feel good about something and this is it. I would hug a tree but I'm afraid it might hug back.

This is a good product but I didn't like getting several emails from "Amazon Seller - Number 1 In Service" asking me to give them a good review. I think that must violate Amazon seller rules. It's a good product so I'm not deducting a star from the review for the pestering by the seller.

This epoxy is so much better than what you'll find packed into those infuriating double tubes that misfire mismatched amounts of adhesive and hardener. So easy. If the amount is very small, I eyeball it. If it's larger, I count seconds of squeezing. Thus far, I haven't had a single bond fail.
Two things to note:
a) This is not as clear as some epoxies, all of which yellow, no matter what they say, and continue to yellow with sun exposure. (This is true even of casting epoxy although many intended for casting contain blue/violet pigment to neutralize the ambering). Still. This is vaguely yellow-tinged from the get-go in any volume greater than schmear. I typically use it in places it doesn't show or it doesn't matter. When I need a truly invisible mend that will stay invisible as it ages, I mix powdered pigments to match the article. being fixed.
b) Although it says 5-minute epoxy, the working time may be far less, depending on the temperature of your surroundings. Just because you can still manipulate the epoxy mixture somewhat doesn't mean you should still use it, if you want a bond that holds. It should be at least semi-liquid when you apply it to the areas you are bonding.
Bottom line, though: this is really good epoxy at a very nice price.
Tip: if you use epoxy a lot, get yourself one of those tiny little silicone mixing bowls used for cosmetics and spices and there's no clean up. You just wait till it dries and turn it inside out over the waste basket.

Just as the name implies, this stuff sticks, and it does so fast. I use it for many applications, gluing plastics, wood, metal, and anything in between. I made custom handles to attach to a stainless steel knife blank and it worked like magic. I also use it for pen making. I even used it to fix a leak in an air mattress. A few words of advice, keep the caps sealed tight when not in use. The Part A Resin began to harden after a few months of non-use.

So I have used this on a number of projects including making pens from wood. For the most part it bonds well to all they different types of wood that I have used, but I find if the wood is soft or porous you will need to make sure that you get a good coating on the entire surface that you are bonding otherwise it could come loose. I would recommend this for anyone looking for a solid product at a good price.

4 stars for good epoxy. 1 more star for a really neat spill proof and self cleaning cap mechanism that works easily while in gloves. Working time is reasonable and it sets up clear and completely.

Description

Mixing Note: Mixing a large curing mass, such as one cup of Epoxy in a cup, will create heat that may brown the color of the cured Epoxy. Avoid this by mixing small batches of Epoxy at a time.

Shelf Life Note: Epoxy may gel or crystallize in the bottle over an extended period, especially in cool environments. To thin thickened epoxy, place the bottle in hot tap water (or microwave for 5 seconds at a time) will bring the Epoxy back into solution. Cool before using.

This will be my new go too structural epoxy. Easy to use and best bang for you buck I have found! Used it to insert bolts for some DIY footing shelves and it's Rock solid.

Excellent quick set epoxy. I use a good amount of epoxy on my projects and I will buy this one again. It does what it's supposed to do, the price is right, and I like the dispensing top because it's easy to keep neat & clean.

I love the little containers. But do not cut the tops off that was my mistake

I love this stuff.
It cures much faster than loctite or devcon or any other brand I've used. It also is more heat resistant too. Many epoxies fail from heat.

Works great and is very thick. Good price for the amount.packed well with fast service. I will buy again when I run out.
