This product works really well. And is easy to apply. The preparation to apply the product is where it is difficult and time consuming. You're gonna need about 5-8 hours.
1. Wash car with a non wax soap. I used citrus from Chemical Guys.
2. Decontaminate the car with a iron/tar remover spray. I used CarPro Trix.
3. Clay bar the car with ClayBar and Lubricant. I used Chemical Guys.
4. Dry the vehicle and Polish using a Dual Action polisher. Depending on the damage of the paint you might have to use different pads and compounds. I used Chemical Guys v36. Compound with a Blue Hex Pad. My car is only a month old.
5. Decontaminate the vehicle from left over polish residue with Isopropyl Alcohol. Spray on towel not car. I used Target brand. first aid section.
6. Ceramic Coat with Color N drive. After applying wait approximately 8-10 minutes. You'll see it haze. Use a LOW PILE (short fabric) microfiber cloth to buff it the haze. Don't let it sit for too long it will be very difficult to buff out and also might damage your vehicle.
7. Seal off with CarPro Reload to protect and allow the cost to cure without any contaminations.
This job takes HOURS to do and requires a lot of. Microfiber towels. But the results are excellent.
I've just finished a 10 hour labor intensive detailing on my 2017 Ford F150 and the end result is out of this world. My truck was manufactured in June this year and after I washed it I used a Clay kit before applying the ceramic coating to boost the end result. This picture speaks for itself. Quick facts:
1-There were no gloves in the pack as the manufacturer mentioned in the product description."That why I gave it 4 stars".
Update on 01.10.2017: The seller offered me a free paint fixing tools as a compensation, and for such reason, I changed my review to 5 of 5 instead of 4 of 5.
2-The 50 ML bottle is enough only for one layer for large cars like GMC Yukon and such information should be mentioned in the instruction manual.
3-The price is comparable especially when it comes to a German quality comparing with other brands.
4-It took from me about 8 hours to complete the job on my Yokun Denali.
5-It is very important to do a professional car washing, cleaning and then clay cleaning before you apply the ceramic coating.
You may follow ChrisFix on Youtube and see the professional cleaning and follow his valuable advices on such topic.
6-Don't ever use waxing before you apply the ceramic coating.
Finally, I will update my review after a period of time.

Short term results are very good so far. Makes maintenance washes a breeze. Will have to see how long it lasts to give a long term recommendation.
As many others have stated, success for this ceramic as well as any others is in the prep work and OCD attention to detail during ceramic application. I did use this on the wheels and in fact found them much more fool proof. Good results so far on the wheels.
General sequence i followed:
1) Regular wash
2) Iron-x (i applied with vehical wet)
3) Sprayed diluted solution of degreaser, rubbed in, and rinsed
4) Wash with dish soap (AJAX)
5) Clay Bar then rinsed
6) Compounded with DA using Mequiars
7) Sprayed and wiped with 25% alcohol (mixed with distilled water) and dried
8) Applied Ceramic small sections/panel at a time (split hood into 3 sections) FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS
On the ceramic application, applied prep spray, with prep spray STILL wet, I used the supplied foam applicator being generous and coating evenly with horizontal and intersecting vertical passes, waited about 1 or 2 minutes (DO NOT LET THIS EVEN GET CLOSE TO DRYING), sprayed MF towel with distilled water (damp not soaking wet),and push/final spread product, then IMMEDIATELY used separate MF towel to buff and wipe remaining product off (critical that you get this step 100% otherwise will be left with high spots that have to be machine compounded off).
I have applied this product to two vehicles and using the above method. There were two small spots on the first vehicle that I didn't get off fully and both were instances where the damp cloth used to push/spread the product drifted just beyond my intended working area (where separate body panels meet) and I failed to catch it and remove it.
This is a revision of the rating that I gave to this Seller. First of all, I was so busy working as mobile detailer in the field 8-10 hours a day and 7 days a week no time to give feed back of the products I bought. I've been using other ceramic coating products for all my clients and most of them are very difficult to buff off, too much time spending. So bought this product for first time and really like the results also very easy to use and not to spend too much of time. This product is easy to apply, smooth to the touch. Just follow the directions. I’m not sure why there’s some reviews about the hazing effect since you have to wipe off with a damp microfiber cloth after the recommended time and then dry. Just applied on my new BMW M2 and it comes out fantastic.
It makes the paint and chrome look DEEP & EXTREMELY SHINY! This stuff really works! I did it on my 2005 victory vegas! Put it over the whole bike except seats & tires. It goes on windshield & I polished the heck out of my aluminum wheels until they wouldn't get anymore shiny & I put this ceramic coating on them & I WONT HAVE TO POLISH ALUMINUM WHEELS AGAIN!!! I Applied this to my 2017 Silverado. The truck was brand new at the time, having about 180 miles on it at the time of application.
My Thoughts and notes:
- I pretty much Ignored the included instructions. They weren't very readable, and had been translated poorly. Thankfully, there's a lot of advice, and lots of videos and tutorials out there to help.
Before Applying I did the following -
1: Thoroughly Washed the truck
2: Clay bar'd it. (I probably din't HAVE to do this, but if one is unsure, i'd highly recommend it.)
3: "Pre Treatment" Bottle. I believe this is an alcohol solution. (This, however, IS required)
Total Pre-Treatment time was a little over 2.5 hours for me. (The car was pretty clean before hand)
As for the application of the coating itself, i applied the coating about 1 section at a time. It was only about 50 degrees outside at the time, so i had to do a little bit of waiting before removing the excess. (7 or 8 minutes at 50 degrees, just a note) Removal was relatively easy, without much smearing to take care of. I switched microfiber cloths about halfway through the job. Total time to apply was a little over 3 hours for me. would have been faster if i hadn't had to wait after each section for it to dry. (Make sure you take your time when removing this stuff, and don't miss spots.)
After applying, I actually didn't notice the huge improvement in gloss that a lot of people see. I think this is a) because it was overcast outside, making it a little tougher to tell the difference, and b) because the truck was so new and glossy already.
It DID, however, have a marked improvement on shedding water. Just like a fresh coat of wax, this sheds water like nobodies business. How long that lasts, I'll update in the future sometime. Additionally, It was also markedly smoother after application than it had been before.
All in all, I'll be VERY happy with this product if a year down the line, it sheds water like it does now.
6 Month Update -
After 6 months of daily driving, and nightly garage-ing, my truck still does a pretty good job of repelling water, and is still relatively glossy. A touch-less car wash can get rid of whatever road grime comes on my truck pretty easily still, so it's still doing a good job there. Unlike a standard wax job, where I'd probably be looking at a sheet of water on the hood after a rain by now, this one still beads up reasonably well. It seems to be definitely longer lasting than the usual car wax, but at the same time, definitely not quite as water repellent as it was at the beginning. My guess is that I'm about where i would be after 1 to 2 months of using a regular wax, so by my guesstimation this stuff is lasting about 3 to 4 times as long as a regular wax.
The product from the start is equal to a quality wax appearance. After heavy rains, the car is noticeably "cleaner" than other cars that have a wax finish. I still have to clean the car the same as before which is fine but I was hoping to be able to just "rinse" dirt away. After two months it is holding up the same as when I waxed the car. Time will tell if this is better than a quality wax job. Steps I did as follows:
1. Hand wash
2. Claybar (cheated and used Migliore Ultimo Clay Towel & Poorboys Clay Lube)
3. IPA wipedown
4. Professional wash
5. IPA wipedown
6. Filled in paint chips
7. Ceramic coat 2x except bumpers 1x
If I had more time, I would have purchased another bottle and did the tires as I believe the product does a good job of repelling dirt than other products I have tried.
