Feature Product
- Best Quality and Value. Superior Braking Power. Free Shipping and 30 days Return Policy.
- Our rotors are machine drilled with special tools to minimizing stress-risers for maximum resistance to heat and longer rotor life compared to lower-priced cross drilled and slotted rotor offerings.
- CAD software is used to design and test the optimum face pattern for full pad sweep, reduced hot spots and minimal grooving.
- Rotors have a special coating containing metal oxides, zinc, and aluminum flakes sprayed over the entire rotor surface to ensure complete coverage. It is baked on at 600 degrees to form a durable and attractive silver-gray finish that fights rust far better than paints or other conventional coatings.
- Combines the benefits of cross-drilling and slotting for the best of both worlds.
Description
Cross drilled and slotted rotors with anti-rust coating combine the best features of a slotted rotor and a cross drilled rotor with our special Geomet coating. Excessive heat can cause resins in your brake pad to vaporize or "outgas" and as the brake pad wears down the used friction material turns into a fine dust. This boundary layer of heat, gas and dust builds up between the pad and rotor surfaces and inhibits performance.Slotted and drilled brake rotors help evacuate those gasses and dust, shed heat, and keep the pad from "glazing" by keeping the brake pad surface clean. And in wet, raining conditions, slots and cross-drilled holes can help push water off the braking surface for better stopping power.
