I've tried a lot of tire shine products and have found some good ones, but most of them seem to leave overspray which is really noticeable on a white car. This product provides a pretty good shine and doesn't leave overspray on my fenders even if I drive off right after applying. The shine does tend to fade after awhile, but the tires still look clean because it seems to keep dirt off a little better than the other products. Last thing I like about this tire shine is that if you get some on your hands it doesn't feel super greasy and its easy to wash off. The only downside to this stuff is that it's a little pricier that the other products out there. If you're on the fence about buying this I would pull the trigger.
Update: I just tried this on the plastic piece by the windshield wipers which had faded due to the direct sunlight and I was able to bring the plastic back to life. This stuff works really well on plastic as well as the tires. I posted a picture of the plastic and you can tell a big difference. I let the product dry before I took the picture just incase it went back to the faded look and surprisingly it stayed looking new.
Here's how I got the best shine. 1) Clean all of the tires before you apply. 2) Apply 2 spray's to the applicator to start the first tire after that I apply one spray to the applicator per tire. 3) Apply a little bit of the product directly on the tire and use the applicator to spread it evenly.
Went on Amazon to buy some kind of tire shine. Love reading all the reviews on everything I buy. When I bought this I knew I wouldn't be disappointed cause of all the excellent reviews. This tire shine rocks. I did however, like everyone else does. Clean the rim after spraying tire shine on tires. I also used it for my trim and above the tires in the inner walls as shown in picture three. Worked great. After spraying let the tire dry. It will sling if you spray then drive.
Love this stuff! I was a little nervous that it was going to make my rugged jeep tires "too shiny". But I used the little mit and worked it in all the crevices and it dried amazing! Just the perfect amount of darkness and shine. I also didn't need to use a ton of product either; after 5 big tires the bottle still feels full. I would say I'd buy it again but I have a feeling it's going to last me a longgggg time!
Currently my favorite tire shine by a mile. This blows ANYTHING you can get at a store out of the water. Don't even waste your money on those products. As a tire shine its great. A nice shine without being too crazy. You can adjust the amount you put on to change how much shine you get but realize there are limitations. If you like a matte clean look, you won't get that, but you can get somewhat close. If you like absolutely crazy wet looking tires, you can't get that either but you can still get pretty close. Basically you won't get either of the 2 extremes if you really desire that, but most people (myself included) are looking for something somewhere in the middle and this will deliver that no problem. I like my tires on the glossy side so I apply it fairly thick. It lasts a long time, is super durable, and won't sling off. Every time I apply it I get compliments.
The supplied applicator pad is OK, but I really recommend buying some cheap curved foam applicators. Its too easy to accidentally go over and get some on your wheels. A couple spritz's on the foam applicator and your tires are going to look baller in no time. The supplied applicator does come in handy for getting into some of the more highly detailed spots you find on some tires and its really good for using on your trim.
Thats right, this stuff is also awesome on trim. I use it on all my trim but one place I always notice it is on the hood vents of my Raptor. You're constantly looking at them and before they would always get dull after a little while. With this they keep looking great for weeks on end even though that area is constantly baked by the sun and engine heat. Beads water off like a mofo too.
Tires look like black glazed doughnuts. The car guys come through with another great product. Went on easy with nice provided applicator pad. Dried quick, looks good!

Excellent tire shine better than chemical guys and meguires
I have only had to use the spray twice in a month and a half and the only reason for the second use was I put my car through an automatic car wash. If it wasn't for that I would still be on one use. My friend thought I never drive my car because the tires look brand new everytime I see him. I also use it on the plastic parts on the out side of my car and it's just as amazing. Definitely buying again when I run out.

It really works well. Now I'm just your average joe (minus the Dodgeball skills) and while I've owned cars, I basically buy car products based on word of mouth, reviews, or just the cool packaging. You really have to try it for yourself. Application is easy. It comes with a pad. Spray the pad. Wipe it on the tire. Boom. Done. Shinier? Spray it directly on tire. It has the usual stream/spray setting on the nozzle. It shines. Let it dry. Now I don't how long it really needs so it doesn't sling but I usually wait an hour or so. I've used Armor all, meguires, etc. So far this one lasts the best. It even maintained some shine after a car wash. Now that's a sound buy.
Though this stuff is on the expensive side, it seems to work really well without being super sticky like other shines with petroleum products in them (think Armour All, Black Magic, ..etc.
This stuff works and cleans/shines up plastics as well- specifically black plastics.
As for the consistency of the liquid, it is kind of runny and is milky-colored. Don't worry though- it dries clear. Because it is somewhat liquid-y, it is much easier to apply and get into all crevices on the tires, especially with the included microfiber pad (which is reusable!)
As described, it does not sling and creates a broad range of shines, depending on how many layers you put on. The bottle has the directions on it. This product can create a range of shines/finishes ranging from a jet black (clean) new-tire look, all the way to a strong semigloss shine, as seen at car dealerships and car shows.
I'm too lazy to post pictures, but pictures that other reviewers have posted are spot-on.
This is a good product. I've tried just about every tire shine out there from Meguiars to Armor All and everything in between. They all do a pretty good job of providing a shine some last some don't most sling product on the side of your car. Carguys tire shine does a great job of providing shine with a satin sort of finish and does not sling. The main stand out I noticed was the fact that unlike the rest this product is not a dirt and dust magnet! After 4 days the tires have a nice finish and a clean finish!!! For me this is what makes Car guys brand Superior to other brands. The price might seem high but when you consider it comes with a quality applicator makes it about the same as competitive products. The applicator is effective and easy to use. And as a bonus the product smells nice :-)
