This might be common knowledge to experienced car enthusiasts, but the paint is only meant to protect these headers during shipping. It'll already be scratched by the time you get them, but that doesn't matter because the first time your car runs after installing them it will burn completely off and the metal will start to rust. THIS SHOULD BE ADVERTISED! Otherwise decent product, fits well and has good ground clearance.
While these mild steel headers have been around for LS1 F-body's since the early 2000's, PaceSetter has perfected their fitment. I've seen all the $1000+ systems installed, and these fit just as good (if not better than some). Yes, they're not the 1-7/8" that all the online "experts" demand people buy, one would be doing themselves a disservice if they skipped these AMERICAN MADE long tubes (remember, those cheapie stainless ones on the auction site are from China -- and most are 1-5/8" primaries!).
Bought these from Amazon showed up fast and not damaged. Only con was that i had to get them ceramic coated. After talking with a few buddies they said the paint wouldn't last more than a year or 2. Other than that they fit perfect only had to remove oil filter on my 99 trans am ws6. Pair these headers with pacesetter y pipe and slp loud mouth and you will love it!!!!!

These headers fit like a glove. No modification necessary for installation on 98-02 Camaro. I would recommend these to anyone for the price, you can't beat them. Just coat them before you put them on with high temp exhaust paint to prevent future rust.
