When doing a brake-replace, the brake pads (Centric ACT815) actually extended out beyond the diameter of this rotor by 2-3 mm. The existing rotor and pads made full surface contact with each other with 2-3 mm to spare. I'm not sure if this is a problem, feature, or nothing. I installed this rotor on a 2011 Nissan Altima 3.5 SR at 65000 mi.
I bought these to try to avoid my previous experiences with lower-priced rotors (on a different car). Centric took the time to create a website that talks about their brake rotors and went into more detail than others (multiple pages, some actual technical info). The coating on the non-rubbing surfaces was another plus so I bit.
Put these on our 3.5SE Altima Coupe about 6 months ago. Fantastic! No warping, still clean with no rust. I could tell when I opened them up that they were quality made. Just remember to clean off with a good soup and water scrub down before you install with new pads. I used Hawk Performance pads with these rotors.
Installation was easy and so far for the past two months or so no problems have appeared. Looks good but there is one little section before the painted part that is not touched by the brake pads and still will about a week was already rusted. Other than that everything about this rotors is top notch.
I installed these today on my 2009 Nissan Altima 2.5S. These appear to be very high quality, and after install, they are smooth. I am impressed with the coating around the edges of the rotors and on the inside hub. Hopefully that keeps the oxidation to a minimum.
Ordered a pair for my 2010 Nissan Altima. They were the correct size for the front rotors and installed without an issue. We have driven the vehicle for 6 months and still would recommend them.

- Center Split core castings for proper heat transfer
Description
Centric premium rotors utilize an Electro coating finish that provides long lasting corrosion protection. E-coating is a superior electro-statically applied finish designed to withstand 400 hours of salt water exposure without rusting. Phosphate finishes utilized by other manufacturers provide only minimal protection from the elements; these finishes are generally only effective for the shipping and storage portion of a rotor’s life. The addition of heat and moisture eliminates the effectiveness of phosphate finishes resulting in immediate corrosion once installed in the vehicle.
Super sturdy (heavy), no sounds or squeaks. Great for the price.
Made in China but they are solidly built to take heat from a ceramic pad which could cause rotor warping. Shipped 1 rotor per box.
