Bought these for a 2004 Chevy Silverado 4wd extended cab Z71. Perfect replacements. Rotors come zinc dipped and it looks a little like grey primer. It wears off where the pads contact very quickly. I had only pulled out into my driveway and it had partially disappeared. Although these are pricey I was happier buying OEM. My original brakes lasted 130,000 miles. I had the original front rotors changed out once at about 75k. Amazon had the best price around. Went to the AC Delco website and looked up my truck to make sure of the part numbers. After receiving my rotors it appears that maybe one or both were already opened. These could have been returns. I inspected them both thoroughly and they both looked good so no worries. Would recommend this to anybody replacing there rotors. I checked around an a dealership would charge close to double what Amazon charges for these.
Ordered these for my 2004 Extended cab Silverado. My truck had the original rotors, which had been turned several times. I was getting a lot of vibration when applying the brakes, so I opted for new AC delco rotors and pads. All I can say is WOW!! 30,000 miles later and these are still perfect! They are very quiet and I have plenty of braking power with minimal dust. The anti corrosion grey coating has also held up very well. If you are looking for a quality rotor, look no further.
Installed these on a 2003 Tahoe LS 5.3L Flex Fuel. Original OEM brake/rotor set lasted 8+/- years. Replaced with auto parts store brakes/rotors and only got about 5+/- years out of them. So this time around, decided to go back with OEM rotors so hopefully these will last as long as the vehicle. Both rotors came in as advertised per description and delivery date. You will need a Torx T55 socket to remove brake caliper and an 18mm socket to remove the brake pad bracket in order to install rotor. I paired the rotors up with AC Delco 17D785CH Professional Ceramic front disc brake pad set also from here on Amazon. Huge improvement in stopping ability and without vibration.
Look and hope to be of good quality. The fully coated surface threw me off at first. The friction surface was coated (primer/paint?), along with the entire rotor. I used a DA with 180 grit paper to remove the coating from the friction surface. Not sure if that was entirely correct, but it seemed like the best thing to do. Hope they hold up better than the Raybestos pads/rotors I bought last time. I've gone back to using straight OEM for everything, because I seem to have better luck with them. I would have given 5 stars, but there was no information regarding prep of the rotor (in the box or online), which would have been helpful.
I almost ordered the disk for the 2500 and not the 1500 model. Fortunately I double checked on ACDelco's website. I replaced all 4 of my disks and pads. My change in stopping power is significant. It took a couple of miles to get used to the new ability to stop fast. The disks arrived w/o any issue and and fit perfectly. Mine where sourced in China. 3000 miles so far and my truck is stopping as good as it was the day I put them on. Used Ceramic ACdelco pads.

Fit great on our 2005 Yukon. One came with the odd gray coating and one was bare metal. I installed with AC Delco pads and they're quiet and work fine. I was a little worried about the gray coating even though I had read about it here but it seems to be fine.
I have owned my 2004 GMC Yukon for over 7 years and have never had to replace pads or rotors!!! And no, I didn't ignore them. At the notification of my tire store that they were down to about 10%, I ordered these rotors and the pads based on their unbelievable performance and durability. I removed the wheels from my Yukon yesterday, and proceed to replace the rotors and pads. I was shocked to discover both rotors were in excellent condition, and the brakes were actually down to about 40%. I mean, SEVEN YEARS, and nearly 90,000 miles and still good!!!! I debated just leaving the old ones on, since there was still so much life left in them, and finally decided to replace them since I already them take apart and they were at least 7 years old. After installing the new ones, bleeding the brake lines, and going for a test spin, I was more than pleased with the performance of these new ones. Original AC Delco equipment. Worth every cent. The price here on Amazon was also considerably less than any other website I searched.... so buy these and stop shopping around.
For the price can't beat it, good quality , fast shipping....thanks amazon, this rotors are of high quality, the only thing I didn't like was for being an oem rotor the box said made in china but for the price can't complain.
The disks arrived on time and in great shape no damage even though they are quite heavy. Fit was perfect for my Suburban and they came coated and only required minimal cleaning during instillation. Nice heave and no warping good quality.
