Ceramic Silk (TM) is a state-of-art fusion of clear coat and ceramic technologies-an aqueous, silica (SiO2) coating, which applies a tough, protective, ceramic layer over your vehicle's paint. Recommended for use on automotive clear coat, wheels and trim. Can be layered for exceptional performance.
Unique
Ceramic Silk is not a copycat simple ceramic spray showing up everywhere. It is a silky, urethane reinforced, ceramic polymer which leaves a flexible, durable protective shield on the surface. It can fill light scratches and reflect a brilliant glow, unlike the ubiquitous ceramic sprays in the marketplace. Ceramic Silk almost melts into the paint, with little to no buffing required.
Directions
Shake before & during use. Test on an inconspicuous area prior to application. Do not let dry on surface. For optimal performance, vehicle surface must be clean, cool and free of oils, solvents, waxes and sealants.
1. Spray two mists across one 2'x2' panel at a time and using a clean microfiber towel, wipe into paint to distribute evenly and completely
2. Continue to work into paint until it virtually disappears
3. Buff to a smooth shine with a second, clean, dry microfiber towel
4. (Optional) Buff any smears with a clean, dry microfiber towel. A damp towel may be used for any stubborn smears
5. Repeat for rest of vehicle, overlapping each section
Notes:
Wait 1 hour before applying a second coat
Wait 3 hours before exposing to water
Wait 24 hours before washing
Cures in 24 hours
* For garage-kept vehicles, based on over 100 hand wash cycles using mild car soap
