The ceramic boot on these wires is a great idea! If you have a car that has an issue with header clearances then this is the wire for you. I went through several sets of ignition wires before finding these. Some of the boots are only 1/4" away from the header tubes and are standing up to the heat without cracking. There were a couple things I didn`t like about these wires, one was the fact that the boot at the distributor was 90 degrees where I would`ve prefered a straight boot. The supplied crimping tool was also nearly impossible to use. Those shortcomings aside, the wires do what they were designed to do well.
Solved a long time misfire problem because all other boots burn through and caused an arc against the headers after a few miles.
Expensive but a high quality product.
Outstanding quality, the ceramic ends look and work great. Put them on with clean hands.....
After constant burnt plug boots I purchased these wire set. My spark plug boots are up against my cast iron ram horn manifolds. Worked great until I towed my vintage trailerto California from Arizona and 4 of the ceramic boots cracked causing miss fire.

It does what it claims to do and has good quality too.
Great item to have in your car if you have headers on it. Problem was getting a set that was not broken at the tip. Three times is a charmer with Amazon, that is how many times it had to be delivery, then I ordered a set for a friend and the same again, returned and gave up.
Great product for standard or HEI ignition systems.
Would benefit from the inclusion of LS type coil pack crimp terminals, as I had to buy them seperately
I have a 1938 Chevy with a Blown/NOS 351 and Sanderson cast headers. I was burning up wires with fiberglass boots every 500 miles. Could find nothing to eliminate the heat just rotting them away. That was until I found these. I've now been running these for 2 years and they are like new. Don't understand about the 90 degree comment. You can buy these straight, 90 or 135. You can also mix and match by buying them individually for slightly more. I never write reviews, but I searched for 2 years and these were the only wires I could find which would stand up to the heat!
