Chevy Small Block Camaro/Chevelle/Nova/El Camino "Shorty" Headers -

Chevy Small Block Camaro/Chevelle/Nova/El Camino "Shorty" Headers - Ceramic

Chevy Small Block Camaro/Chevelle/Nova/El Camino

They fit almost perfectly in my 1969 Chevelle Malibu two door with a 350cid. The only thing is the passenger side upper control arm was almost rubbing on the header so I got out my angle grinder to grind it down a very small amount. Unless you own good welding equipment and a pipe bender I would recommend getting the headers connected to the rest of your exhaust by a professional.

The collector flange on the header should be secured better for shipping. The ceramic coating was scratched a little bit from it bouncing around during shipping.

These have a cool look to them, not quite metal, not quite ceramic. They look super clean, not too showy, almost like a brushed nickel plate. They aren't cheesy chrome, they look more sophisticated. They have really thick flanges, and don't warp or leak like most headers.

If you have a resto-mod muscle car, or an old C-10 with lots of room under the hood, these would look really great. They are laughably cheap, heavy, well-made headers, and I've had them on my car for several years. They still look pretty new. Stuff doesn't stick to them, the finish stays nice.

I use manifold gaskets, NOT header gaskets (this is a terrific tip), and between that and the thick plate that bolts to the block, I don't have header leaks like I used to.

I would recommend them to anyone.

I ordered these SBC headers for my 73 Chevrolet Monte Carlo that I'm building. I was amazed that EVERY header bolt is easily accessible and every sparkplug boot is easily pulled off. They are thick, solid and came with MORE than I expected. Reducers, 2 sets of ALUMINUM gaskets and even header bolts. I told my friend about them and he was so disappointed with headers he bought elsewhere, I bought a set for him today. You won't be disappointed with these puppies.
Better order 2 sets because at this price YOUR friends will want a set too once they see yours.

Does it's job

Awesome. Perfect fit on sbc 69 Chevelle.

I install a set of this header on 1979 chevy el camino looked great had a little chearance problem but with a little manipulation work just great

The finish on these is great, the 3/8 flanges sealed great on the first try, with copper gasket, not the supplied ones. Installed these on my 73 el camino with no problems whatsoever, easiest header install I've ever done. I drove the car for several weeks before writing this.

I received the headers in a timely manner. They have a nice thick flange, comes with everything in the picture, was just what I ordered. I haven't got the engine running yet but I will update if there are any issues.

I really appreciate the assistance I received in the purchasing of this item. it was part of a larger order. thank u!

These came very quickly and are very nice. The finish is excellent and the fit was perfect.
Thanks
