Great product, and you can work this like a cheap hooker on 2-for1 night. It doesn't dry out, like Megs 105, and if you need a little longer time cutting, a few small sprays with a a water bottle will keep it going.
It does leave a oily film on your surface, but that's a small thing compared to the amount of working theme you get from this product. Just use your IPA to wipe the residue off.
This stuff is magic. It isn't cheap, but it's well worth the expense. In fact, I'd say its worth its weight in gold. I was able to literally transform a very poorly applied respray on a classic car I acquired using this stuff, and using denim buffing pads on my Griot's DA buffer. The clear had been applied "dryly", as a couple friends in-the-know suggested. Literally transformed from some nightmarish dull finish to mirror like sheen without using any wet sanding technique at all. If you aren't a pro, this, plus a set of denim pads will truly do the work of a professional, expensive wet sand job. Take your time, use the Menzerna sparingly and you'll still have well over half a bottle remaining after you've transformed the final finish on your vehicle. Good luck!
If you are doing any paint correction work whatsoever, this is a must. Easy to use and easy to remove. Doesn't stain plastics near as much as cheaper products but it is still best to avoid hitting them. However there's not much need to tape anything off.
I think this can be used in even a two step system because it finishes so well. I have a black car a noticed no compounding scratches after using this with a DA buffer and MF cutting pad. If using with a rotary buffer and wool pad, it may be necessary to follow up with SF4000 before waxing.
I used to be very loyal to another "M" but this stuff is so much easier to use!
Amazing, this is a time and money saver. This is the only compound/ polish you need. It cuts when you want it to cut and it finishes when you want it to finish. All you need to do is select a pad for cutting and a pad for finishing.
Before FG 400 I used Chemical Guys V34,36 and 38, not any more. I used to switch pads and polishes around and hope I would get the cut or finish I wanted, not any more. Now all I use is FG 400 and whatever pad I need to either cut or finish because FG does both.
FG 400 has a super long working time, puts out very little dust and doesn't break the bank. It's the best product I have used, ever.
I highly recommend FG 400.
I HAVE WAITED A LONG TIME FOR THE MORE HEAVY OR COURSE MENZERNA FG-400 TO BE SOLD IN THE USA.
I tried it with the orange medium cut foam pad on a 2008 Dark Green Jeep, then used PG-1000 Menzerna for more correction, I was Impressed with the overall complete job, - I used FF-4000 to secure the ultimate wet look high gloss, with a top coat of PL- Power Lock Sealant. Also did an older Monte Carlo using the yellow heavy cutting foam pad with EXCELLENT RESULTS. used all of the same steps for the Excellent outcome.

Fast Gloss 400 is the new flagship product in the MenzernaUSA line and the future of polishing compound technology that you can use today.
Definitely 5 stars - cuts as well or better than other similar products from 3m and Meguiars, yet also provides a much finer finish.
I don't have much to add to the other positive reviews, other than on dark, high-quality (low-peel, etc...) paint, a final (finer) finishing step will be necessary. I used Menzerna FG400, SF4000, followed by Menzerna PL, and the results are truly amazing.
Highly recommended.
This stuff is amazing, it is not cheap but it takes off even the nastiest scratch. I use it with a foamed or wool pad for really deep scratches and an orange pad for normal scratches and it is really great at taking swirls and imperfections out. The best part about it though, is that it finishes really nicely, I have no idea how they do it, but you can often get away with just FG400 as a single step (although obviously, running some SP4000 over it with a black or blue pad is desired for an ultimate finish)
Very happy with the product, both cutting power and finishing ability! I used to use PG1000 but FG400 has not only more cutting power but finishes cleaner also.
I needed to do some correction and was not having the best time with the CG's v series for this particular car. I tried the Menzerna line and wow - customer for life pretty much. The 400 combined with the blue Rupes pad gave me a good amount of cut without a lot of passes required. I then finished out with 2500 and then 4000 (the latter not really being needed) and it looks fantastic.
Using this with a dual action polisher gives a great shine and works on ceramic clear coats. I usually do once more with a finishing polish to get the perfect shine.
Menzerna FG400 is a great Cut compound with an amazing gloss finish to it.
Would recommend to anyone.
