I'm the type that usually purchases OEM winter floor mats. At the time I ordered these, Tesla didn't offer floor mats. I evaluated some of the other options, such as TuxMats, but I liked the look of these best. Tesla has since added floor mats to their store, and after seeing them, I'm glad I purchased these.
I ordered these from Amazon seller Garber Auto. Given the number fo Model 3's being delivered, these floor mats are hard to come by. Many places have long wait-lists for these. I must have gotten my order in early, because Garber's estimate was accurate and I had them in about 4 weeks from the date of order.
I have to deduct one star for the large, "3D" logo, riveted to the front floor mats. (I'd really ding them only 1/2 a star if Amazon let me.) The logos can't easily be removed, and I believe if you did remove the rivets there would be a divot in the floor mat as well as two holes. I tell myself that my car is a Model "3", "D"ual motor, but honestly, I'd rather all three be logo-less like the rear mat. I might try black sharpie or vinyl wrap to minimize the look.
These floor mats are so great that they don't need logos. You don't need logos when happy customers spread the word, and recommend MAXpider for anyone looking for winter mats, for Model 3 or otherwise.
I've always been a Weathertech fan for all weather mats. I had them in two Infiniti vehicles. I've also used OEM all weather mats in several other makes. I was hesitant to go with these Maxpider mats due to my past experience with more well known brands. I have to say, these Maxpiders exceeded my expectations by a lot.
The couple of things that stand out compared to the others I mentioned above:
1) These are light weight, yet feel just as heavy duty at protecting the car.
2) For the model 3, these cover the drivers side 'dead pedal' that no others do.
3) For the model 3, the rear covers more of the middle section than the OEM carpet or all weather mats do.
4) I'm 6'2" and the model 3 ingress/egress seems to require me to put a lot of force into my feet to get enough leverage to position myself properly. All other mats would have shifted slightly due to this pressure, but amazing, the Maxpiders stays put. This is perhaps the most surprising and appreciated aspect of these mats for me.
The down sides:
1) Strong odor that lasted about a week and a half. If you're sensitive to this kind of thing, you'll want to air them out for a while before installing them.
2) As some others have noted, there's a visible logo on these. I don't find it that large or obtrusive, but this is purely based on personal taste.
All in all, this experience has sold me on the brand. Maxpiders will be my first choice for all weather mats in my future vehicles (ahead of OEM and Weathertech).
First, let me say the fit is spectacular. The mats stay in place extremely well due to the design of the material on the bottom. For cleaning, it is very easy to remove the mats and spray them down with a hose, dry them off and put them back. The mats look great and we're very happy with them!
Almost 5 stars.
What lost that 5th star for me was that I found no reason the back seat mats couldn't have had the raised border closer to the seats and even follow the contour of the center console instead of straight across. Passengers who sit in the back middle seat will have their feet hanging over the raised border instead of inside it.
Placed a pre-order until they had these in stock on Amazon - saw these same brand mats in a Tesla Model S as well as bought a front pair for a VW Touareg I also own and have been quite pleased with how well they do with the worst winter weather. The Model 3 3D MAXpider mats blend in quite well with the different black textures found in the Premium Package Model 3 version (of course we haven’t yet seen the base version but will assume it will go well in that as well). Great design - worth the long wait!

If the logo can be removed, this set would be perfect. Since that is not the case, it is still pretty damn close to perfection. The mats are lightweight, fitted, and with no chemical smell. They are lightweight and thin, removing to clean is a breeze. They are fitted so they are always in place. They have no chemical which make them ready to use right out of the box. I have spent a lot of money to protect my car, i.e., PPF and ceramic coating, but this is up there when it comes to value since they keep the interior clean without trapping dirt or unpleasant smell. Buy it while it is in stock. The price may be a bit high but it is absolutely worth it.
Fantastic all weather mats for the Tesla 3. These mats, unlike most all weather mats, have a great texture that prevents your feet from sliding around. They fit the Model 3 like a glove and the hook (velcro) style material keeps them firmly in place.
They look far more stylish then the factory floor mats or the crappy all weather mats Tesla is selling. They hold a ton of dirt and water.
They will get you compliments (I have never gotten compliments on floor mats before but I do on these, go figure).
About the only bad thing I can say about them is that Maxpider NEEDS TO DITCH THE ULTRA SHINY 3D LOGO its obnoxious. I solved that particular problem by cutting a small piece of black adhesive 3M window tint onto each one to mask it over.
Great, great, great mats!
Very sturdy and good materials, easy to clean, the only down side is the logo but that can be colored with permanent marker to hide it
Quality, superb. Fit, flawless. Appearance, excellent. Price, in my opinion, on the high side. Price in comparison to WeatherTech is in the ballpark. But I consider WeatherTech on the high side. WeatherTech or these? These for sure. I installed these in a Tesla Model 3. I'm 100% pleased. I read several of the reviews before buying. One question that was asked was, "Can they be installed over the original factor carpeted mats?" The answer was, "No". Possibly in a different vehicle they cannot but in the Model 3 they fit perfectly. The person asking the question was hoping it might contribute to sound proofing the floor. Me too. Definitely can't hurt. Time will tell as far as durability.
Pros:
Good look. Good feel. Easy to clean. Do NOT slide around like other ‘fitted’ mats. Completely covers the dead pedal.
Cons:
Pricey!
Bottom Line:
I can’t give them 5 stars because of the price. I just can’t. But that being said, I think they’re worth it.
I was gonna spend $145 on the Tesla/WeatherTech mats that are exclusively sold in Tesla’s online shop and decided to give these a try. Some concerns I had were the 3D logo that some people complained about. I hardly notice it. Another concern was the crease in the rear mat that comes folded. It seems to sort itself out after putting it in.
The backing keeps these mats locked in place. This can make them a tad difficult to correctly position, but once you get them in the right place, they ain’t moving!!
Also, because they don’t have channels like a lot of all weather mats have, I think they’ll be easier to clean by just vacuuming instead of needing to hose them off, which is what you may need to do with other brands when mud gets down in the channels where a vacuum can’t reach once it dries.
