Bought a pair of these for the front brakes on a 2008 CTS - for this year only of Gen-II the AWD with Y42/FE2 chassis upgrade got the larger brakes of the Y43 car, identified with RPO J55. I'm not sure that this is *identical* to the factory original pieces, as GM offers at least 3 'grades' of this part thru ACDelco (their 'aftermarket' seller). What I like about this version is the black coating on machined non-contact areas which should help resist corrosion, at least for a while. Look pretty sharp behind the polished 9-spoke 18" wheels. This replacement went along with installing non-standard ceramic pads; the factory and most aftermarket pads for J55 fronts are metallic. I went with PowerStop 17-1331 pads/kit also bought on Amazon (reviewed them too) and did the proper break-in according to instructions that came with the pads. Very smooth braking, no wiggles/wobbles, shakes, steering wheel motions, etc - these rotors are precision machined - and it helps to make sure the contact surfaces on the hub are rust-free and smooth. With care these should last a while, so I say a pretty good value given the price (Amazon's in-stock qty is at 1 so I bought from Auto Barn in NY).
These are the exact same thing that came on the car when it was new. I'm hopeful that they do not warp but time will tell. So far so good.
