The brakes from R1 Concepts are made to high standards. I could tell a huge difference in the brakes from R1 Concepts. This is all for brake rotors with brake pads. This did not include hardware (new brake pad holders/mechanisms, I just used the old ones). The stopping power has dramatically increased in my 2016 Dodge Dart SXT. There original problem that I had with my OE brakes was mainly over heating, which would cause the brakes to overheat and become slightly warped. My OE brakes were not meant for the speeds of the German Autobahn. The Dodge Dart would shake minorly at 115MPH+ speeds if I had to brake more than 3 times, at around 5 seconds a piece ( braking on the Autobahn happens frequently in new area under construction, and you have the occasional person hoping into the speed lane going half your speed to pass a semi). The new brakes from R1 Concepts are amazing and exceeds my expectations. I no longer have that slight shake, cause by the over heated, warped brakes, happening as I break. I have breaked at multiple speeds multiple times and I have yet to experience and shaking of the steering wheel cause by brakes. The brakes also have a stylish look to them. This is the second set of brake pads and rotors that I bought from R1 Concepts, and I planned to purchase from them in the future. Customer Service was also fast to respond regarding shipping and handling, and any other questions I had.
I am overall extremely satisfied with the brake from R1 Concepts. I have had the brake install for 4 weeks now, and I frequently drive the German Autobahn, now with no braking related issues at all. I feel extremely safe regarding the braking power and brake durability of my newly installed brake rotors and brake pads. This does not include hardware set, I just used the old one ( sand paper, and brake hrease for them, and they worked perfectly.
Fit perfectly on my Dodge Dart and cost half as much as the regular brake sets at Autozone and Advanced Auto. Car stops on a dime (already had a good but unwanted chance to test them!).
Hope these are still for sale when I need my next set of brakes.
The black coating will be gone after the first 30 seconds of driving with them but they still look/work well.
Update August 22 2018: Had 2 more close calls thanks to people slamming on the brakes on the highway while in front of me.. These brakes saved my ass 3 times now!!! Will definitely order again if they are still available when I need brakes again!
I can't believe the quality and performance for the price. It was going to cost me $250 plus tax if I bought generic rotors and pads from advanced or AutoZone. I got great quality and better performance for less than $190 shipped to my front door.
Seems alright so far. Installed a month ago. Will update if any issues come up
Easy install, works great! Don't understand why it took 5 days for them to start the shipping process. Told my friends about them.
