They fit my 7lug 97 f250 just fine. It sounds like drag racing when I step on the pedal without the rest of the exhaust. I do got a body lift and 35" tires so Idk if that's why they fit. Paid a guy 160$ to install these headers on the 4.6 engine it has. But I didn't paint them so it's peeling the paint it came with and I knew it would but idc. Remove the paint with a wire brush that can be used with a drill and then paint 2-3 coats of high temp spray paint. Drying will be time consuming but you can also wrap them with exhaust wrap to contain the heat even more. If you do this painting will be more about preventing rust while wrap helps with the heat. I did neither cause it's an old truck. But I love it.
