Buying brake pads online has one disadvantage, many brick and mortar auto parts stores will machine your old rotors free with the purchase of pads. But this requires you take apart your brakes, remove the rotors and leave the car up on jack stands, use a different car to bring in the old rotors and wait for a machinist to run them through the brake lathe.
Why bother to do this when you can have these nice Wagner replacement rotors delivered to your door for a reasonable price.
The rotors came with no instructions, so I presumed I had to wash them with brake clean before installing -even though I did not detect any oily coating on the wear surfaces.
The rotors fit well and now the car stops smoothly and quietly.
Auto parts stores seem to have their own individual store brands. Wagner is an old-line parts supplier & difficult for me to find locally.
These rotors might have "mystery metal" in them for all I know, but I suspect Wagner has higher standards. Superb performance so far as a replacement rotor set. The coating is a premium touch.

works well on my car
Works as advertised, been using for about 1K miles with Wagner PD1033A pads on rear wheels with no noticeable noise or dust buildup. Coated axle looks great once installed, maintains a clean look, and prevents rust welding in the process. Will use again!
