Installed on 98 Chevy Silverado K1500 5.7L Vortec which Pacesetter says fits, Amazon says No. Of course they fit.
Headers always add performance. But you will make it harder to change your spark plugs.
When Installing these. Don't use the supplied 5/16" bolts/ washers/ nuts at the Exhaust Flanges. Use 6 of your old manifold bolts, and the 6 nuts from the original flange connection. Put the nuts on top, and the bolts through from the bottom. Both already have washers, and its 3/8" much stronger. Use High Temp Red Silicone seal at the two flanges also. This will solve any potential leaks from this area. If you look at the 2 new molded do-nuts at the header collector, you'll see slight deformity, and dents.
Overall a great set of headers for the $$.
Great for the price was disappointed to see they sent them with air injection which I removed but no biggie welded up and work great
Came with hardware, spacers for the plug wires, gaskets, they fit perfect and sound great. Coating comes off after a couple days if you don’t strip and repaint them but they still function fine.
Good bolt on set up. Great price. The welds were kind of sloppy. I had to do some porting on the welds inside the tubes.
