I used to detail exotic cars in the Los Angeles for 5 years and the company I worked for relied on this product heavily for waxing. The best in the industry in my opinion. Now that I moved back home (Lake Tahoe) I use this personally on all my cars, it's great for a protective coat for the winter and water spots. I use my Porter Cable 7424XP, awesome combo. Definitely get some Meguiar's clay bars as well...
I ordered this here only due to it having a much lower price than retail stores locally. As for good old #26 (aka High Tech Yellow Wax), this Meguiar's formula has done me well for many, many years. Applied once a month with an orbital buffer, it keeps everything looking nice. It goes on easily, but thinly, and wipes off much easier than other waxes I have used. I sometimes will substitute other Meguiar's waxes but tend to prefer this one simply due to being familiar with it.
Definitely adds more depth compared to other carnubas I've tried. If you are not familier with this wax know that your vehicle should be clayed, compounded (if needed) and polished for it to have any advantage over average waxes. I used this on a white 911 I had and I think it stands out more with darker colors. The NXT 2.0 was great with white. I used m105 & m2o5 with lake country orange cutting pad and meguiars soft buff for polish. Lake country black for wax , all with DA polisher. I track this car and don't lay back in traffic trying to protect it. Even had the windshield replaced because its been pelted so much on track and highway the view became distorted. You cant see the hundreds of marks in the bumper after detailing using that combination of products /pads. Good results from Meguiars products.
Megauiar’s M26 features a unique professional-grade formulation which blends premium yellow Carnauba wax with silicones, polymers and other specialty waxes. It can enhance the depth of your car’s color, making your car shine like a new one.
I have been using Ziano Brothers car products for years but decided to try something different and based on what I read I ended up ordering Meguiar's Yellow Wax #26. I gave up on natural Carnauba waxes years ago because I found most to be messy in terms of wipe up (dust/chalk). So for the longest time I only used synthetic waxes which go one easy and wipe off easy. Meguiar's Yellow Wax #26 is made from both Carnauba and synthetic stuff like silicones and polymers so I was not sure what to expect. I was happily surprised with the results both applying the wax and the brilliant shine/protection it provides. This wax is thicker than synthetic based wax but it's fairly easy to lay down and wipe up is not bad either but still not as easy as synthetic waxes like what Ziano Brothers and other's offer. Now the only question is durability and how long with the wax last compared to what I am use to. Time will tell but in the meanwhile I think i have a new favorite wax!

I love the meguiar products. This top coat follows claybar + Meguiar's M21 Mirror Glaze Synthetic Sealant...And it does make a difference in the depth of the gloss.
I did the three step process on two cars over two days...and I expect it to last for 12 months cause my cars are garaged mostly.
However, I have been told one should apply every three months to maintain the look,
This stuff is easy enough to apply every three months, without breaking your back.
Always cleaning or detailing one of the cars in driveway! Great product ! Have been very happy with Mcquire products easily last 20+ years ! Very important surface has to be clean or you will make a mess read directions micro fiber cloths or soft cloths if cloth falls on ground ! Disgaurd could have picked up sand or dirt ! Cost of a rag verses cost of paint job !
5 Stars for what it is.
(FYI) I dont have a black car so I cant say what it does for black cars. For all of my cars, 1 Grey, 1 Blue, 3 Red, this is the most beautiful wet shine I can get, I havent seen another product come close so I use it a lot.
Pros - 1 Damn Amazing Wet Looking Shine,
Cons - It will attract dust over a few days
Use it to give your car a shine like no other for a special event.
3 Stars for what it isn't.
It is not a protectant that will give your car a permanent shine, especially if you live in a dusty environment. Meguiars has their Sealant for that. I use this for special occasion shines, date nights, car shows, trips down the coast, for the rest of the time I use their Sealant product. Their sealant product gives a good shine for months and months, and keeps the dust off.
This gives a wet shine, that eventually dust will stick too.
I actually used this, based on the advice of a handyman to reseal the stone counter tops in my kitchen and bathroom. I used one of those 'magic erasers' to clean first, then once it was dry, I applied this, waited 30 minutes, then polished. The effect is brilliant. The counter tops shine, don't stain when water gets on them anymore, and are really easy to wipe down.
It stinks a bit while you are applying it and needs a bit of work to polish, but compared to the price for getting stone professionally resealed, this is a steal, and did the job perfectly for me.
Meguiars is a trusted name for quality products at a fair and equitable price point. I have been using Number 26 for over 30 years now and find it to be tried and true in it's ease of working and length of results. Number 26 is a good detailers wax that has a long working time and gives consistent results. I have recommended Meguiars Number 26 to many of my friends and without fail they are happy for the recommendation.
