Chemical Guys Activate Instant Wet Shine and Seal is a product for the auto enthusiast that has well maintained vehicle paint. Sometimes after a weekly maintenance wash, one does not have the time or desire to properly wax ones vehicle with carnauba wax. Activate gives users many of the benefits of waxing such as not allowing dirt and contaminants adhere to the surface, but can very quickly be applied and buffed off. It also adds a nice gloss to the vehicle.
Unlike carnauba wax, Activate will only last a week or two. In short, Activate is a great in between waxing product. Seals and protects the vehicles paint until the next weekly maintenance wash, while briefly giving its users many of the benefits of waxing with much less application time and effort.
So did this product state what it was going to do, yes, was the advertisement overhyped, yes.
Now personally I use Meguiar's Ultimate Paste Wax for my cars, now is this product going to replace hand waxing your car...NO!
But what it does is restores and I would claim seals your car in between waxing.
Product is easy to use, the sponges/applicators are a must and most enjoyably the easiest product to remove via buffing.
Goes on incredibly quick and smooth with requiring little product on the applicator.
Also you can put it on anything, i put it on my chrome pieces and trim, headlights etc..., i didn't go so far as to put it on my chrome wheels though (2017 Infiniti Q50)
Reminder product needs about 15 mins to dry/cure.
I bought the big bottle because I have 3 cars to maintain you probably only need the little bottle for a single car as it will last a while. I also know people complained about the sprayer on the smaller bottle, go to Walmart and get yourself a 98c sprayer they sell little ones, that is what I did with this.

this bottle is awesome. so so easy to use and come out looking like a million dollars. only thing the spray trigger gets stuck from time to time. other wise is it was a little bit cheaper and comes in a gallon size id but it all the time! i still would any way
Best damn polish I have ever used. keeps a vehicle cleaner by not letting things stick to it as well
I use this stuff on my bike and MAN is it great, leaves a nice wet shine and even works great on chrome!

I’ve tried lots of products that advertise a wet look. After using this, I know what they mean by that. It really does make the paint look wet. I’m super happy with this stuff. Also, it smells good like all their products do.
I have a black car . This stuff leaves car gleaming. I highly recommend it ! Wipe on leave on for 15 minutes. Wipe off done
I like this product. It's a little difficult to apply and buff versus some other products I've used. I think this may last a little longer on the vehicle than other products though.
Probably one of the best products out there!
