Pace Setter 70-1327 Black Shorty Exhaust

Pace Setter 70-1327 Black Shorty Exhaust Header

Pace Setter 70-1327 Black Shorty Exhaust Header

These do in fact fit a 1998 Ford 5.4 engine. I had purchased another brand advertised as such and did not fit. If you are building a Ford 2v 5.4 engine, I recommend these headers, but you should upgrade the gasket set. You will likely need to use one or two of the included bolts for clearance, rather than the studs. You may also benefit from installing the headers after the block is installed, they stick out more than the factory manifold and it is a tight squeeze putting that engine in anyway. I painted mine with ceramic high temp exhaust paint over the factory coating. I'll update if that painting method fails.

Fit like a glove, but the removal of the manifold was a pain, broken heads.

Installed them on 2001 Ford F-150, fit right into place with no big issues

great deal!

Sound Great. Fit was perfect. I will use this again on my next project.

Description

Affordably priced PaceSetter Headers are one of the best ways to improve your vehicle's performance and efficiency. By reducing exhaust back pressure and scavenging the cylinders better, headers (sometime referred to as tubular exhaust manifolds) provide a noticeable improvement for any application. These Shorty Headers bolt on in place of the stock exhaust manifolds for greater engine efficiency. Fits Ford 97-03 F150/250 (exc. H.D.) and Expedition, 5.4L.
