Great set of brakes. Installed it on my '10 WRX hatch. Had to get these because the old set was almost gone and it felt like braking took a lot more effort. Took me about 40 minutes to install (because I'm a total newbie).
It's cool that they include new shims, grease and even a rag in the box. I had a bit of trouble with the shims (again, total n00b) and seating the pads right. After sorting that, did test runs and found that the initial "bite" is really strong. I had to adjust my braking habits cos they work so well. It also does not produce as much brake dust as I thought it would, too. Pretty happy with it, overall.
Just installed them on my 2nd gen Subaru Forester, great little kit. Came with everything from the pads, to the metal alignment pieces to the brake lube and even a rag, they preform well so far. Only negative I got is that it can take a little fiddling to get the pads to seat in the slots, but not that big of a deal. GREAT buy for 30 bucks!
Yes, it was easy to install, even by an amateur. It works very well on the car and breaking is easier.
Excellent brakes, the kit really makes it nice, and while it may not seem like much the shop towel in the kit is an EXTRA nice touch to an already great product
