This is a SINGLE Centric 120.65107 Premium Brake Rotor with E-Coating. If you need more than one, buy more than one!
I purchased a pair of these for the front of my wife's 2007 Ford Escape XLT 3.0L 4x4. There are two different front rotors used on the Escape with the 3.0L V6 so please verify fitment before you run out and buy rotors. (ask me how I know)
The previous rotors on this vehicle were $15/ea (marked up to $120/ea, of course) pig iron garbage rotors that you can purchase from one of the big online parts houses that were most likely warped out of the box. The brake monkey at the rip off tire shop installed them anyway along with the cheapest pads I've ever seen for a total of ~$800 out the door. MAD PROFITS are apparently more important than safety. I didn't realize how bad it was until the wife and I started commuting together to work, and the brake pulsation started making me car sick. "It's always done that." No it hasn't sweetheart, I'll fix it.
These were purchased along with a set of brake pads (Centric 105.10470 Posi-Quiet Ceramic) to replace the "unsafe at any speed" dust and noise generators that had been mistakenly installed with the previously mentioned "rotors." The old pads crumbled when I tried to remove them, and the old rotors had rusted to the hubs! After much cursing and PB Blaster they came off, but I was seriously shocked. Those things were no more than 2 years old and we live in California! It hasn't rained here in ages!
The new Centric rotors looked great and were within 0.001" runout out of the box. How do I know? Because I own a dial indicator and know how to use it. The black E-coating is super nice and really looks like it'll do a great job protecting the rotors from corrosion. Even the inside of the vented section is coated! Very nice attention to detail. The crosshatch pattern ground into the friction surfaces was highly uniform on both sides of the rotor and should hold up well. The Escape is not difficult to do brakes on, but I'd recommend getting a copy of the Factory Service Manual as there are a couple parts that could be tricky if you've never done brakes on one of these things before. Also, you are going to need a torque wrench. A BIG torque wrench. The caliper bracket mounting bolts for my particular model are torqued to 129 ft/lbs. Please don't blindly use my numbers, you need verify for your specific application. Don't come crying to me if you strip something. I also took this opportunity to disassemble, clean and lube the slider pins and replace the rubber pin boots. I'm fairly certain none of those things had been done since the car left the factory, but now I'm not sure if I'd actually trust a tire and brake shop to do such things. Hummm... It's that "attention to detail" thing again, darnit.
After the pads were bedded in to the new rotors, she stops on a dime! Well, more like a nickle. This is a 3,500 lbs "small" SUV after all and there is only so much you can do. I no longer notice the brakes and I feel safe in the car again, and would not hesitate to send the wife off into the Sierras. Definitely a quality product offered at a good price. Don't bother with overpriced rotors from the local auto parts store, these are definitely the way to go.
I purchased these brake rotors to do a brake job on a 2005 Ford Escape XLT and they work very well. At the time of this review, we have had these rotors on the car for six months and when paired with Centric Posi-Quiet ceramic brake pads they are quiet, do not dust and have not had any issues warping. It also seems like the e-coating has helped with preventing corrosion to the degree that you would normally see on the rotors. I would not hesitate to recommend these or buy them again.
I let the installer put generic rotors in back and they make the car look derelict with bright blooms of rust. I picked my own rotors for the front and these show no rust unless you bend down looking for it. True, it's only a cosmetic difference. But it could make a difference when you sell the car, or give it to your daughter.
Rotors fit great, seem to be very good quality, so far no brake pulsating.
Update 9/17/2014- Rotors seem to be holding up pretty well, no shake yet.
I bought these based on blogs from other web sites as well as what is written here and will tell you they work great! The tech I had install them was impressed with how heavy duty they are and commented that these ones probably will not warp like the cheapeies the dealership installed when they sold the car to me.

Feature Product

- Double Disc Ground for quieter and smoother stops
- Machined finish for a cleaner looking part
- Center Split core castings for proper heat transfer

Description
Centric premium rotors utilize an Electro coating finish that provides long lasting corrosion protection. E-coating is a superior electro-statically applied finish designed to withstand 400 hours of salt water exposure without rusting. Phosphate finishes utilized by other manufacturers provide only minimal protection from the elements; these finishes are generally only effective for the shipping and storage portion of a rotor’s life. The addition of heat and moisture eliminates the effectiveness of phosphate finishes resulting in immediate corrosion once installed in the vehicle.
