Installed these on my Prius. It was fairly easy. Had to use a short 2x4 wooden block and an 8" clamp to press the cylinder back, but that was fairly easy. Wore some cheap latex gloves to keep the dirt & dust off of my hands. Found a good video on the internet that was helpful. Kept the Prius keys away from the car once ready to start the job. (That's super important!) These have been working perfectly for weeks now.
I used these pads on my wife's 2007 Toyota Prius. The pads themselves are high quality, silent (I used the Loctite brake grease rather than the stuff these came with, although I'm sure it's just fine too), clean, and provide excellent stopping power. I knocked off a star, however, because they did not come with hardware. In the description it says that it does "where applicable" (or something along those lines). Well, the Prius does indeed need hardware, so I think it should come with the clips/shims. But I digress, the pads themselves are good. I would use these again, just be aware that you likely need to purchase the hardware separately.
Great item and easy to install.Used 14mm socket, 6" C-clamp and medium flat head screwdriver. Lug nuts were the hardest part.
These pads fit like a glove and are working beautifully! Only complaint is the little grease pouch. What are we supposed to do with the darn thing? The instructions are not very helpful!
Very good. Liked how it came with the lube, even though it wasn't enough. Thought I had a used set of brakes because there was a rag in it, but I seen others got it too. So, I knew it wasn't used. The rag also came in handy as well.
