The rotors are plated to prevent rust and corrosion over the life of the rotor and pads. No other manufacturer does this that I know of, and not for this price. Most other manufacturers use a waxy film to protect from rusting, which must be removed with lots of brakecleen prior to installation. The pads come with all the necessary anti-rattle clips, backing plates, anti-squeal grease and compound for a perfectly smooth noise-free installation plus the instructions are clear and specific to the model vehicle. They even give you detailed break-in instructions so you get the most life out of your brakes. You can't ask for anything better except the Power Stop cross drilled high performance ventilated brake and rotor kit, but that's more for performance driving and not necessary for the average driver.
